If you watch those Project Farm Youtube Videos that were posted, you'll see:
Lucas 'Red and Tacky'
Walmart Grease
High grade Marine Grease
Grease from the 1940's.

They found all grease is NOT created equal. Grease has come a LONG way since back in the day, and cheap grease doesn't work nearly as well as the higher quality offerings out there. Across the two videos, you'll see how the Lucas makes the others look like Silly Putty. lol Looking at the wear marks on the bearings in the friction/protection test, you'll see the Walmart and 1940's grease did TERRIBLE, and the Lucas had barely any damage.

Nostalgia is great for some things, but lubricants have come a LONG way since back then!

Good Luck!
