If the wiring harness is still there, the 42 and 45 is different from the later ones. I learned this when I replaced the harness on my 45. I can't recall the difference right now. When I get my wits about me, I will share that info. As I recall, there is a difference in where the wires join coming from the battery and branching off down to the starter and back through the firewall.
