Default Blown head gasket???

30" Tudor running great since engine rebuild in in Sept 08 (other than minor carburator issues) and always runs on the cool side 160* to 170*. About two weeks ago took her out for the day & put about 150 mi. on & she started to overheat, to about 200* to 220* & I kept it running & added quart or two of water & she cooled back down I checked for leaks & all is well, but 10 mi. later over heating again, added water again checked & no leaks, on way home started missing & running rough, got her home & found a lot of water coming out of exhaust while running. Removed plugs & ran compression test & had 100# to 102# on all cylinders but #s 3 & 4 were wet but no trace of water/antifreeze in oil. Running BF 5.9 Head & I am trying to remove head to check the gasket but haven't been able to break it free yet but is it even possible to have blown head gasket with perfect compression readings? Sorry for such a long post but trying to give best possible description
