Ya know, maybe I'm just cynical but that occurred to me in this case. The owner tried to sell the car, but no takers. So he advertised just the chassis but with pix of the car still intact. Seems to me, if he was serious about rodding it, he would have pulled the body (a quick job for a couple guys in a rod shop) and posted pix of the chassis. Wonder if the message between the lines was "you restorers better buy this survivor or I'm gonna cut it up"?
Whatever, it got saved - that's what counts.
