Had the same issue when I wanted carpet for my 1930 Woody wagon. Got carpet runners from Lowes. Material was 5 ft. wide and bought by the foot - i think I got 6 ft long piece. Kinds lightbrown/grey color. It is less than 1/4" thick and can be cut with sizzors - and looks goood too. ken
