Correct throttle linkage set up for 55 Ford?
I am trying to determine the correct throttle linkage parts for my 55 Ford wagon with 272 V8 and Standard Transmission (O.D.)
The 49/59 Ford parts Manual shows an exploded illustration , but it does not indicate Standard Trans and/or automatic trans. It shows ALL the pieces that would be there for BOTH standard and Auto trans. It does not indicate the difference.
Maybe somebody can help me sort this out as I don't have a known correct set up for the 272 with standard trans .
The easiest would be a picture or two of someone that has a 55 with standard trans. Or if someone has more detailed parts manual illustration of the set up showing ONLY MANUAL TRANS application.
I can get more detailed if you want more description.
