I had a '65 Custom Cab Ford, 1/2 ton, long wide bed. About 10 years old when I got it. A 6 cylinder, 3 on the tree. A great combination- easy to maintain and will go forever. My last truck, a '01 Silverado was the same- a 4.3 V6, auto and air. Long wide bed. Another great combination that will go forever. The Chevy can probably be bought much cheaper than that earlier era Ford in decent condition.
