Well, finally started to build my frame today. 2x4 with it tapered and pinched up front and drilled and sleeved holes. Flat x-member with the Ford I Beam hung with the spring attatched to the split A bones. '55 Chevy truck rearend (3.55 gear) hung from an A x-member with a kick-up and '40 Ford rear bones. Gonna be channeled 4" to hide the frame. This should put it at about 3" off the ground at the lowest point. NOw, time for some TV and a beer....I've earned it, today.
