Denny: The sound is much better, thanks. The candles may be small but I got lots of 'em.
Marko: Yes, the welded on nut method nearly got used this time. I might do a video on the broken studs, that would probably involve welding.
Bill: The Buma has three projecting "catspaw" probes that are wound out using the knob on the top. I have just been finding a part of the bore that seems reasonable and use that to centre it.
Frank. Yes, this is an old school portable boring machine. In theory it could have been used in vehicle but I wouldn't fancy doing that.
I'm new to all of this. I bought the machine some time ago and those bores in that test block are the first ones I have done.
Not sure when I will be able to do any updates, I've been laid low with Labyrinthitis the last few days. It's like being on a ferry boat on a choppy sea. Not pleasant at all.
