Remember, the Model A's cooling system is not pressurized so all you want to do is have the threads coated with sealer material that will not breakdown at around 300 degrees. The anaerobic sealer and RTV red or blue silicones will probably work. Teflon is not a good material for hot environments, it will flow very easily and breakdown.
