Yes checking for good metal, I used a unibit and can tell by sound/pressure when I get good metal. After doing the whole bad area I decide on either a bunch of plugs or a big old patch.

The cab is 95% done, just have the 2 lower rear cab corners left.

Door will be the biggest project yet, hoping my metalworking is up to it.
