Is your car still 6 volt? is the turn signal kit the same voltage as the car? If not the flasher is wrong voltage. So is the light indicator in the turn signal unit. Are the rear lights mounted to steel fenders?. I checked Brattons online and I don't see a 6 volt turn signal kit but that doesn't matter if you change the flasher it will still work.
