Default Type nuts used for 42-48 ignition coil wires

I have several 42-48 ignition coils. There seems to have been two types of nuts used that held the wire on the two top terminals. One was a regular hex nut while the other is what I'll call a tube nut for lack of the correct terminology. It is a round tube, about 1/4 inch long, with the center hole threaded. It is designed to be tightened or loosened by fingers OR by a screw driver slot cut across the top end od the nut. It is brass. Which if either is correct? Anybody have a couple of the tube type they would get rid of? I would post a picture but have forgotten how to do that. Lawson Cox 770-784-0507
