Two claims in a short period of time puts up a big red flag with the insurance company. You may have screwed yourself.
This puts you on their watch list as a liability. And they all share info about us between themselves. It affects your homeowners and insurance on your everyday cars.
Unless you have a major accident it is always best to just pay out of pocket and leave them out of the equation. Don't be too quick to file a claim.
They have actuary tables and computer algorithims that determine how big of a risk you are and it is reflected in your premium.
