Default New To The Model A Forum

Hello 'Barners,

I am new to this side of the Fordbarn. I have been a member of the V8 Forum for many years...way back to when Shelly owned it! Shelly is in our local regional V8 Club group...great folks Mac & Shelly!

Anyway, I took delivery of a 1930 Ford Model A Town Sedan (Briggs) this past Friday. It belonged to a dear friend who passed about 5 years ago. He had owned the car since 1963. I have a lot to learn about Model A's. I have owned and still own a few 1932 Fords as well as several other V8s along the way.

The color in the picture shows a little darker than it actually is. I believe it to be Copra Drab? It is a brown color. It has not been driven in the 5 years since his passing, so it needs some TLC. I am very honored to be the next "caretaker" of it! I haven't received any of the previous owner's books etc., I won't be purchasing anything until I find out what he had.

I will be posting a lot of questions in the very near future...I'm certain.

Regards,
Pat
