Thanks all for your help. 39topless no I did not have any issues with engine temp, I am replacing the water pipes and had a chance to see stats. Only have a little over 100 miles on engine so really have not driven enough to see any issues. The temp on original gauge. on an 85 degree day, ran just over the halfway mark but that was only for 12 mile drive. This thing is bored .100 and being newly rebuilt I am always watching the gauges.
