Remember ....like I said....resisters get HOT! I mean
frikken' HOT! And the last thing you want to do is cause a COIL to get HOTTER in any way, not to mention that VERY HOT resisters can possibly melt that plastic-like case on a coil. I believe I'd be looking for someplace else to mount that resistor, but what do I know? DD
