1. The door latch handle and the window regulator handle have the same design.
2. From the inside of the car, you should see the handle and an escutcheon trim piece.

3. Get a helper and with an 1/16" drift pin in hand.

3. Push the escutcheon hard into the upholstery panel until the pin attaching the door handle becomes visible.
4. Have a helper push the pin out, and the remove the handle, the escutcheon, and a conical spring.

These pictures should give you some insight about how the handles are attached. The escutcheon is left out, and instead of the pin there is a cotter.
