Any posters on this thread working in the oil industry in the US ? Reading the responses I would guess not . I for one do not think OPEC has slashed prices so we can have cheaper gas for our old Fords . Did actually see a blurp on the internet where the side effects of this on US oil production were finally being noticed . Not pretty and it is a simple fact of life that they can recover crude much cheaper than we can so their break even point is much lower than ours . Do the math on that = crippling some and bankrupting others in the industry here with low prices .
