I like the lift posts ahead of the radius arms because a lot of times I have it on the lift to take the rear end out.I lift the car,unhook everything,and just loosen the spring U-bolts.I set it back down,finish unscrewing the U-bolt nuts,and pick the car up off the rear end.I do clamp my post extensions to the frame with vise-grips at the rear.Somehow I have this idea that once I remove the rear end there will be too much weight hanging on the front.In reality that's just not true.I have picked the car back up on the lift with no rear and tried to pick up the now lightened rear section.Two of us can't budge it on a pickup or roadster.
