My first car was a 60 ford convertible 352 4v carb auto red with a white top that my uncle gave me in 66 when I got my drivers license. The trans. was slipping but the car was mint. I went to the local junk yard and got another trans, but it and 2 other trans just couldn't stand up to the beating that a 16 year old was giving it. So I converted it to a 3 speed stick and drove it till my senior year when I traded it to a friend for a 65 mustang with a bad motor. Wish I would have kept the 60, funny thing is I never drove it with the roof down cause I liked the look of the car better with the roof up.
