I had a SunPro fuel gauge and sender in my car. The fuel gauge was always fluctuating while in motion. When the sender became erratic, I replaced it with a Autometer sender to match the Sunpro gauge. I now have a steady, accurate fuel reading. Just my experience, your mileage may vary.
