You are going to have at least 1/2 quart (1 pint) left in the engine after changing the oil.

The engine capacity is 5 quarts. So on refilling, put in 4-1/2 quarts. That will get you to your 5 quart capacity.

I hate "guessing" at just how much is in the engine when I check it so I have marked my dipstick. For every quart added, there is a mark.

Some may not recommend this and that is OK...It works for me.

Just remember when you do this, that there is a 1/2 quart of oil in the engine already that must be accounted for.
