I have an original 30-31 brass quail. Yep brass and they do exist.
The plating is gone but the base metal is superb
Opinions as to whether to replate or not.
I would work it down myself and it would be a huge time investment
Very rare item that I've had for a long time
Replate it just leave it alone and in a display shelf? Killing value by replate??
Not sure I would use it on a car anyway.
