According to the Lodi Sentinal: “Every one of the 10,200 authorized Ford dealers in the United States has received a copy of the New Ford Song entitled 'Since Lizzie Changed Her Name To Baby Lincoln.' If the Ford dealers do their part in handing out the song and if every person curious to inspect the new Ford gets to singing about it the music publisher's presses will be put to strain, to say nothing of the ears of the public. This is a new way of capitalizing the joke interest in Fords which started out to be in derision and which has turned out to be an asset worth many millions, proving again that one of the best things man can have is ability to take a joke."
