Installed new float today. There was a cork one that bit the the bullet. The main gasket was also rubber and I replaced with a cork one. The brass slip ring was missing, but one came with the kit. Great to have a working gauge again. Was way easier than I thought it would be. As usual, thanks everyone for the advice.
