So, with only a few shakedown miles on the 32 I took it to Prescott for the VHRA GOW! event. It all started so well. I got 1-1/2 runs in and the car started to misfire. I failed to fix it properly and never got a good hard run in. I can say, though that the car did handle and steer very well, considering it's age and how high it is. While continuing to run, albeit roughly, I did manage to drive home without any drama, other than boiling up while parking at the house.
Thanks to Neil at the VHRA and the sidewinders for putting on such a fantastic event, and the Bugatti owners club for allowing us onto the hallowed tarmac.
