How could anyone think it was expensive especially the price of the room at $80 a night. We had a huge corner room on the 23rd floor of the new wing. Or hotel bill for 7 nights was around $650 which included $10 room tax. It was one of the nicest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. The food at the hotel was cheap, prime rib or T-bone steak dinner with wine was $14, 20" pizza before 6PM $10. Because of the accident I was in last Nov. we rode with friends & didn't bring a Model A. We still had a great time. Plus I forgot to mention that the night of the Awards Banquet the hotel had a bar set up & offered free wine, beer & drinks. When's the last time you've seen that??
