Yes, the V8 60 hp is like a turtle. Several varieties, but all versions are SLOW. Built for Europe due to fuel prices and marketed here in the States. Only one of Ford's mistakes.


Go BIG or Go Home. V8 85 hp and higher for me. I owned 2 V8 60s. One in a survivor 37 Coupe and one in a 40 Midwest pickup. Both ran and idled excellent. First upgrade you came to was when you pulled your hair out and made up some new words. The Model As and Model B engines would run circles around them. I drove them around the block and that was enough for me.

My survivor 37 coupe only had 23,000 miles as of last year. -Cause nobody wanted to drive it much I guess. And the 40 pickup only had 42K. Find one because they are in cherry condition, then change the motor and deep 6 the 60.
