Question for the Ford flathead experts. What year did Ford change from the 21 stud to the 24 stud 221 V8 ? Also, were there both versions during one model year ? I'm asking this because I watched a video of 1938 Fords being built at the Ford Rouge, and they showed both 21 and 24 stud engines.
