Things to think of...

1. Are the stanchions "magnetic"?
2. If magnetic there either Steel or 400 series SS..
3. If non-magnetic there either Brass or 300 type of SS,...you then need to figure out which...
4. If non-magnetic,..I'd find a welder with a TIG and weld them up, shape and polish..
this would be for SS..
5. I don't think JB weld will hold up well, besides,..it will look like crap..
