Thanks for the + replies, I know it`s not to everyones liking but.................
Changing the windwing glass to plain, a mistake in etching them, the mirrors are small enough, the etching makes them even smaller, would like larger mirrors.................
Had a look at the timing using the link ( Marco Tahtaras) and I`d like to think I`ve got it right, but, starts on the button, idles nice until you rev it, with the gav open 1/4 turn will only rev to about 1000rpm, open the gav 11/2 turns will rev to about 2000 with lots of popping and banging. Plugs are sooty. Put it to bed for the night, have another go tomorrow.
