One of the issues we found when buying our home in 2013 was finding a garage that had room for more than just simply parking a car in it. Ours is slightly oversized with nice workspace to the rear of one bay. It seems that most new construction is built so that the cars can barely fit in and that's it - no room to roll a jack around, have a work bench, etc.

Matt we see that a LOT, new homes built with a 'three car garage' that would MAYBE hold 2 Mini Coopers and a riding lawn mower in the third stall. Pathetic what these contractors do!!!!! And good luck opening your car door without banging into the sheet rock wall
