A neighbor bought CHEAP Made in China tires for his Chevy van last winter. He was crowing about how much $$ he had saved. I don't recall the name it was some off brand thing he found on Amazon.
4 mos. later two blew out at the same time going 60 MPH down the highway. Scared the crap out of him it was all he could do to keep the van under control.
Turns out the reason the tires were so cheap is because the Chinese weren't vulcanizing them, they purposely were making sh-- tires and selling them over here. They were saving money taking short cuts and 'passing' the savings onto Jerry.
