I heard the same thing about H&H buying the manufacturing equipment from Kearney.
I also knew about the source in Australia. I was once planning to buy a set from one of the two known sources, until I visited Vern Tardel and picked up a set of Eddie Meyer repro 21 stud heads, at what I thought was a reasonable price.
