Default Speedster Project

Well, I got a bit more done this last weekend. Not as much as I had hoped, but still plenty.

Saturday morning I went down and helped cut the nuts off a frog. That's railroad speak I guess for part of the rail switching mechanism. I volunteer down at the Abilene and Smokey Valley Railroad, and we were laying another track and switch to the barn.

Back home I started to put the chassis together.

Sunday morning I rolled it into the shop to clean up the frame rails some:

Then my little helper and I set the motor in:

I still need to move the front crossmember ahead a scosh and get a set of rear u-bolts.

That's all for now.
