I've got a fresh 8BA I just installed in a Model A customer chassis I built and when the engine guy delivered it to my shop I asked about the cost of the engine and he said 8000.00. We're talking apples and oranges because it's a built engine with all the aftermarket heads and carbs and has been broken in on their stand. 6000.00 is probably at the top end for a stocker?
