I understand that on the Victoria's they move the gear box forward 4.5 inches to clear the floorboard. I have a regular Mitchell and want to put it in the Victoria. Is there any other way to do this without moving the gearbox forward? Maybe someone has tried this?

Sure, take the rear floor pan/tub out of the sills. I'm sure you already knew this but the reason it is moved in to prevent interference.

Another option (which would be my preferred method if it was my vehicle) would be to sell the Mitchell and purchase a 3.27 gear set with the proceeds, and use the remaining proceeds to purchase a Stipe IB330 camshaft and a 6.0 high compression head.
