How can that work if the radiator stays are undone - as they must be to remove the water pump?
I use one of those too and like it but I don't think it would help me in this application. A simple wooden prop from the head to under the center hinge sounds more like it to me. I'd make the bottom of the prop as wide as the head to give it some sideways stability.
