A minimum 50 litre/12 Gallon per minute compressor with a 60 gallon tank will be good for all around home workshop work. Make sure it is cast-iron sleeved cylinders and oil lubricated. This will ensure enough volume for spray painting and running a DA sander. This is marginal for a sandblaster. Pressure means nothing for air use in a shop. Volume is what is important. Gary
