I did mine a few years ago and love it. It really made my truck a lot more fun to drive. I used a Chassis Engineering bolt-on cross member. I was able to keep the original cross member/motor mount. Some trimming of the stock cross member was required but that was done with a reciprocating saw making it a no welding, basic hand tool install. Note that you will have to modify the steering shaft to fit the steering rack and that changes the stock horn and light wiring.
