Default Re: Lincoln brakes on the front of a Ford?

Thanks Pete, Not something I had really considered with the law... but... I think I will be under 3000lbs anyways. The cars I may tow are pretty light weight stripped down roadsters or possibly midgets. Nothing like a big old stock car.

It is possibly to put brakes on the trailer if it seems necessary. My plan is to run early floater "spindles" with the wide 5 pattern hubs. Having a drum on there wouldn't be much of a big deal.

the trailer is actually a ways down the road anyways, just working on the '39 now and brakes are on the list to get done.

thanks everyone for the advice and input. I will take it all into account.

Zach
