It's a fully fendered fat fendered ford. you are preparing it for towing duty. Why not switch it to power disc brakes?? It's a safety issue. It could always be converted back a few years down the line when it's no longer being called on for towing. I'm not a street rodder, I use drums on all my cars, but for towing, especially with an unbraked trailer, it would make a lot of sense to go to discs, especially as kits are freely and cheaply available.
