Default Re: Starting my Pickup

On my 38. I use a napa IH200 condenser (I know there are better for mfg, but is easy to get. I bought 3 just because). A skip coil. A bubba dizzy. It might seem like a ad i guess, but I'm not prepared or capable of rebuilding these items with solid proficiency. It takes a village. 5 yrs running and by running I mean it sits for 4 months and cranks over quickly after that (totally rewired with harnesses from Sacramento ford). Granted new fuel lines, rebuilt carb(this was the hardest of the whole thing to source) and tank.

4v at the coil as mentioned. I've smoked a couple coils with the power on and points open without the engine running, yrs past... including a yblock. burnt into by brain now to always check if the ignition power was on when the engine was not running.

Best of luck.
