I've never downloaded any. I bought a reproduction set of overhaul manuals for the 49/51 Mercury years ago and after I received them, I noted that the final 1951 revision was not in them and my cars are 51s so be aware that they could be incomplete. I like to see for sure what I'm getting or at least ask enough questions to satisfy my needs. Most folks won't BS you but you never know now days.

There may be a source on CD too. Detroit Iron Information Systems and others put CDs together for some stuff. I just use the old books from Ford but It is too large a pile of them to call portable.
