I have a 39-42 era Mercury flathead engine complete except for the fan.I bought it several years ago at a swap meet and never did anything with it. The engine has a rebuilders tag on it that states standard bore and .010 under mains and rods. It turns smoothly and has no visible cracks that my old eyes can see but I never attempted to start it. Included are 2 new water pumps still in the boxes and a rusty old Ford flathead shortblock if wanted .
