I have a Sparton on Horn my 32 which I have rebuilt I have fitted a relay on it and it will only go properly when the battery is fully charged and engine is not running but when you are travelling it sounds like a dead duck most of the time so I know a electric motor rewinder he is going to replace the motor windings with a different wire, they should be able to go on 5 volts
