I have the full flow setup on my 33,with oil filter,I just did an oil and filter change yesterday,(after 3300klms on our trip).
I just drained the oil took the old filter off,FILLED the new filter with oil ,put it on,refilled the oil,hit the starter took 2 seconds before oil pressure came up no worries,
Seems once the system has been running,the oil pump is full and so are the lines.
