Thanks for replying Steve, that is a fair assessment.
I tell you what, I am going to order one of the reproduction 3221 KRW timing alignment gauges and will compare where the timing cover align's with the front of the block/pan and how well my timer/rotating flapper install and get back here with my results between the two.
