You might try Bert's in Denver, they have a whole junk yard of original parts. Out here in California a banjo can usually be found at the big swap meets for about $5.

A word of caution, if you come across one at a swap meet and the double race is missing, pass on it because it probably fell out because it was spun when somebody not understanding pre-load tightened down the two large nuts excessively.

Another consideration is the year of manufacture. The ones from the early cars did not have support gussets at the torque tube flange and most are cracked at the two bolt holes on each side nearest the flange. Unless you are restoring an early car for blue ribbon judging it is best to use a later one with the support gussets.
